As a Non-Executive Director on your Board, you would be drawing on my forty years of business experience. Today, my principal interest is marketing and business development, but I have much more to offer than that.
You would have access to someone who…
- Is great at forming and steering teams and meetings. I’ve managed teams in the UK, across Europe, and in the US. I’m a great team player too. I’ve successfully chaired monthly board meetings, helping to recruit and guide executive management.
- Has something useful to say on a wide range of subjects that I have been responsible for, including alliance, mergers, acquisitions, corporate finance, personnel development, leadership, innovation, and cross-culture trading and working.
- Spends a lot of time working with owners, managers and leaders to both build coherent business plans and then support the achievement of their goals.
- Is passionate about bringing intellect, wit and empathy to the coaching and mentoring of people within a business.
If that sounds interesting, I’d love to talk to you about my track record as a NED so far, and what you’d like to achieve.
I spent twenty five years in the software industry before becoming an independent consultant in 2003. I was a senior executive for software companies in Europe and the USA. With Hyperion, I was vice president of marketing for EMEA, and, while living in the USA, directed the corporate product strategy for the company’s core products. With Informatica, I managed all marketing throughout Europe, with a multi-discipline and multi-national team.
I find his counsel to be a great asset to my company. – Paul Brownhill
Since 2003, I’ve been engaged by the owners and senior executives of a wide range of businesses, from family firms to large corporates, in the UK, Europe and the USA. The sectors I’ve worked in include finance, security, manufacturing, legal, software, education, franchising, creative, consulting, and digital media.
