The group's board wanted to get clarity on how well their marketing was performing, so engaged me to perform an audit. I interviewed key personnel in every part of the group's divisions. I spoke to people responsible for marketing, sales, alliances and general management. I delivered a presentation to the board which analysed every aspect of marketing and scored the performance. My presentation to the board made detailed and substantiated recommendations, showing where changes in the group's marketing would produce the most impact for the least investment.
