In response to frequent requests, I’ve decided to start running some group workshop sessions focused on LinkedIn, just for senior executives and business development professionals.
I’m giving another talk on social media. This time, I’ll be focusing not on how to use social media, but why.
In a talk I gave yesterday, I summarised what I consider to be best practice in the use of social media for small business.
If you’re a small business owner, you’re caught in a catch-22. Because you don’t know what social media can do for you, you don’t use it. And because you don’t use it, you don’t know how it could be useful to you. I’ll be giving a seminar about this in January 2011.
You might need to have a policy for your use of social media and online networking: this is mine.
